Getting Involved

Not everyone wants to get involved in the same way. The Beaver County Association for the Blind encourages you to get involved in our cause, in what ever way you feel you are able.

We all have important values and ideas, things we care about and want to share. Sometimes we feel our ideas can even change the world, and we want to let other people know how they can join in and make all our lives better.

Recycle

Used eye glasses.

Used cartridges from your personal computer printer, copier or printer.We collect both ink jet cartridges and laser cartridges.

Used aluminium cans, like soda pop and beer.

If you are moving, getting new furniture, doing some cleaning and have good usable items that you are going to dispose of .? consider donating them for our next garage sale

Assist the Beaver County Association for the Blind in an Upcoming Event.

We need volunteers for all our events. Think about giving some of your time to help someone who needs you.

Make a Donation

All donations to the Beaver County Association for the Blind are used for the benefit of the blind and visually impaired in Beaver County.

For example the donation of the following would fund:

$ 25 Transport and Escort for an eye Doctor visit. (1 Client)

$ 50 an eye exam for glasses (1 Client)

$100 - Vision screenings at 2 pre-schools

Charitable contributions are tax deductible.

We acknowledge all donations.

are important partners in the creation of opportunities for people who are blind and visually impaired and promote unnecessary blindness.
