The Beaver County Associations Facts:

  • Fulfills its mission as the only service agency for the blind and visually impaired for all Beaver County Residents.
  • Has been a positive and significant influnce to Beaver County blind and visually impaired persons quality of life since "1947"
  • Has an IRS 501 (c) (3) charitable organization tax status
  • Is supported by the United Way of Beaver County and the Pennsylvania Association for the Blind state wide organization.
  • Provides opportunities to learn, experience, share and celebrate in the lives of the blind and visually impaired in Beaver County.
  • Serves 545 persons annually. Clients continue to rise because of the prevelence of Aging Macular Degeneration and our aging population
  • Is governed by an enlightened, dedicated and involved Board of Directors.
  • Has its programs and policies administered by a capable and creative Executive Director.
  • Provides quality of life services by  the dedicated staff of Six
  • Fosters self-help and well-being to its clients.
  • Recognizes its responsibilities to grow and expand to meet new challenges and needs.
  • Participates in outreach programs with other non-profit agencies.
  • Charges NO Fees.
  • Attracts over 600 volunteers anually.
  • Conducts successful fundraising campaigns to help balance the annual operating budget.
  • Conducts educational programs about blindness or vision problems by request.
  • Is dedicated to strict and accountable programs to control and keep costs of operations in line.
  • Has open doors regardless of age, race, religion, sex or disability.

Route # 18, make a right turn at the second red light you will see the building on the left. If you are Traveling across the bridge from New Brighton into Beaver Falls. From the opposite direction  traveling toward New Brighton on 7th Avenue in Beaver Falls, when you see the Beaver County Fruit Company on the left, turn left at that red light we are the first building on the left.
